As a Doctoral Candidate, Peter has held a 4.0 GPA throughout his schooling. He has a strong understanding of all levels and periods of music theory and aural skills. Peter has tutored many students in the past from people looking to complete a Royal Conservatory exam to graduate students preparing for Music Theory final exams. Peter can help a variety of students, from first learning how to read sheet music to analyzing complex 20th century pieces.

What to Expect

I have taught all ages of students from young children to graduate students. Each student will be given a personalized plan based on their current skill level.

Students wanting to complete Royal Conservatory Examinations will also be given the right time frame with worksheets and exercises to help them succeed to the highest level possible.

Students can have lessons in person (in Toronto) or online (via Zoom). Lessons can be 30 or 60 minutes and depending on the students current situation, may have one or more lessons per week.
